Account Manager
Location: : Tamworth - Birmingham, West Midlands
Rate: £ 18 to £ 28 K (full-time (per year))
This growing company based in Tamworth require a Senior Account Manager to join their team.
This position is a broad based role that supports the main objectives of the business, which involves consolidation and growing current business and acquiring new business.
Main skills required for this post are:
Ability to work to deadlines
Ability to coordinate ongoing tasks
Ability to liaise with clients and suppliers on a daily basis
Ability to present portfolios to clients in a professional manner
Ability to communicate with journalists across whole PR spectrum
Ability to prioritise ongoing work
Maintain and file past, present and future work in an easily accessible manner
Ability to manage client portfolio in a strategic manner
Some of the duties in this role include:
New account acquisition - sending out letters to potential new clients, follow up calls, booking appointments etc
You will brief suppliers on design, print, event organisers etc
Continually liaise with suppliers and manage projects from start to finish for example: Public Relations, Design, Sales Promotion, Media Design, Branded Goods, Print, Events and New Media etc
Manage new accounts, provide quality, professional service, constant contact
You must be able to work within company structure supporting existing accounts, provide quality professional service with constant customer contact and provide Customer Satisfaction Questionnaire.
In your daily role you will be required to:
Compile client proposals
Client and supplier meetings
Prepare budgets and purchase orders
Prepare and dispatch Press Releases to all publications
Liaise with the press relating to client products
Answering calls
