CAD Designer

Rate: £ 24 to £ 25 K (full-time (per year))

Senior CAD Designer required by this leading manufacturing company. The successful candidate will have a flair for aesthetic design and a good appreciation of the engineering aspects involved to enable realisation of the design. It is essential that you have the ability to model using Solidworks and detail changes in AutoCAD is essential. You will have a drawing office background with the ability to design and detail in accordance with BS5750. A knowledge with respect to design for metal casting and plastic injection moulding items would be favourable. HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous.
