·Delivery training/coaching on specific Lean Six Sigma tools to enhance employee capabilities in cost down projects and continuous improvement.
·Monitor MVP project activity providing guidance and support to project teams as required to ensure deliverables are achieved.
·Liaise with line management to support continuous improvement activities and develop a continuous improvement culture.
·Managing quality improvements in conformance with time schedules, product specifications and certification and legislative requirements
·Maintaining ISO 9001:2000 and other quality system certification, and evaluating the associated documentation for effectiveness and adherence
Qualifications:
HND minimum in an engineering or technical discipline.
Experience:
·Modern manufacturing environment utilising Lean/Six Sigma principles.
·Detailed knowledge and experience of ISO quality systems
·Proven record of achievement in a manufacturing environment that involves a broad product range, wide variation in batch sizes, significant volumes of outsourcing and a diverse customer base.
·Leading and facilitating improvement project teams delivering waste/variance reductions.
Advantageous:
Knowledge/experience of
·Electronics, plastic and metal forming manufacturing processes.
·Six Sigma tools and methodology implementation.
