My Pubic Sector client is currently looking for an experienced Identity Architect to join them on an initial 6 month contract. The role is needed to provide technical assurance around the emerging design for IDA (Identity Assurance) and associated Services and to provide technical input and assurance to the Agile workshops covering the identity solutions. SC Security Clearance is a mandatory requirement for this role.

The key responsibilities of the post holder will be:
* Production and maintenance of IDA architecture and principles. 
* Technical assurance on supplier proposals and detailed designs for identity components 
* Technical support to identity agile workshops. 
* Identification of identity risks and management of mitigation activities against those risks.
* Input and support to security accreditation work around the new IDA, solutions. 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience/qualifications:
* Experience in information assurance and security architecture including the practical application of security industry standards and good practices, including CESG 
* IT Security Industry experience in HMG, telcos or financial sector, with demonstrable architecture and supplier management experience in some/all of cyber protection, , infrastructure security, protective monitoring, and counter fraud, relevant identity management and product experience as above. 
* Practical and in-depth technical experience of architecting and delivering security architectures for high availability internet facing multi-tier web service-based database and payment applications (authentication, authorisation, audit, identity and access management, protections and information / storage / communications security IS/IT controls) 
* Experience with threat analysis, security controls and counter measures in areas such as cyber protection, identity management, online claims and payments, protecting infrastructure, countering fraud and intelligence threats
* Experience within a Security Architecture and Assurance Environment
* BCS certificate in Information Security Management or a BSC in Computer Science, MSc in Information Systems Security or equivalent qualification or relevant experience.
* Knowledge of UK central government IT security standards and policies (e.g. CESG developed standards and guidance). 
* DESIRABLE -CESG Listed Advisor (CLAS), BS7799 Auditor, CISA (Certified Information Security Auditor) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) desired. An SC clearance is a mandatory requirement of this post.
