Student Mediator

Rate: £ 7.20 to £ 8.20 (contract/temp (per hour))

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a team of 10 to 15 Student Mediators to join a fast moving company based in Birmingham City Centre.
Ideally you will have experience within an educational background providing support and advice to students. You will also require excellent interpersonal skills especially patience, understanding and listening. A high degree of reliability and integrity will be needed.
You will be responsible for supervising a PG content internet chat room for an up and coming website due to be launched in March 2008. Your daily duties will include monitoring the content of discussions, investigating and resolving any problems and providing support to users of the chat room.
The site will be running 24 hours a day, seven days a week therefore YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK A FLEXIBLE SHIFT PATTERN.
Working hours will be based on a 37.5 hour weekly rota basis which will include evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
